This Advanced Commercial Mediation Training begins with an exploration of the special considerations for mediators engaged in commercial dispute resolution.  The training includes an in-depth analysis of the impact that commercial matters have on the way a mediator prepares for and facilitates negotiations.  Participants will engage in several mediation simulation exercises, group discussions and exercises to build an appreciation for the nuance of mediating commercial disputes.

"In all of the prior CLEs that I have attended, this was my favorite program."

Kristen Wolf, Mediator

“Ms Gleason Alvarez has a strong command of the subject matter. Her knowledge is vast and her delivery of the detailed information is clear, organized and precise. She has excellent oral skills, was able to manage technology, questions, zoom breakout rooms and many other aspects of her class. Each day we had interactive mediation practices where every student had an opportunity to act as mediator... This class very much exceeded my expectations and I look forward to participating in any other class offered by Ms. Gleason Alvarez.”
